After many grueling months of unsuccessful online dating—Bunny*—a good mate of mine was about to cancel dating and remain a bachelor for the rest of his life. After all, who needs a life partner when you’ve got a cat happy to see you holding a can opener at home?

I convinced him to let me write and post a new profile for him. Within a week of posting, he got a hit, they met, and now they’ve been married for over six years.

I still count this as my most gratifying piece of work to date.
